Tattle Tail Tuesday

Dear Mummy

Every time you cook I get scared. The loud wail of the fire alarm and all the smoke is very very scary for a little cat like me.

Mummy - please try and cook something without setting off the fire alarm. I know it's difficult but maybe you could cook on a lower heat or something? Or just microwave food instead?

Mummy I love your cooking, honestly I do, but I get really frightened when you go in the kitchen. I know you understand.

Luf n hugs

hahahaha! This is why our Mommy refuses to cook - she is bad at it and we make fun of her too!

I think you are just looking out for your mum, Baby Mao. I am sure it isn't healthy for her to breathe in all that smoke, either. Plus I hear it is stressful for mommies to cook in the kitchen AT ALL. Maybe you should suggest she get take out more often.

Ha, ha, ha....that is a good tattle Baby Mao. My Mum sets off the fire alarm if she uses the stove too. She usually just uses the microwave though, it is much safer for someone of her limited skills.

Oh I know what you mean!!! It is just too scary in there when she is cooking so I steer clear. Though the microwave is kind of scary too sometimes.

Oh Baby Mao...
I know I should save this for TT but I have so much to work with already, no matter.
ML had so much grease splatter and who knows what else caked onto our oven that when she tried to self-clean it TWICE all the smoke billowing out of it scared her so much that she quit the operation mid-stream.

She waited until our landlady came up from FL to do yard work and tried it again with her here in case the house caught fire, SHE might know how to use the extinguisher. Plus, then, it would be HER fault for letting ML do it.

sigh.

That's how our dad tells if what he's microwaving is done...

My Lady unhooks the smoke detector when she uses the oven. What does that tell you?

try not to worry about it. That sound just means that dinner is done!

Best to just eat out and then bring the kitty bags home for us! :)

That must be very scary, Baby Mao! I don't think my humans have set off the fire alarm in our place here in Munich.

Sheesh, I guess I am lucky both Mommy and Daddy are good cooks. I even gets a nibble or three occasionally.
