Hi, it's the human slave again!
Baby Mao can't blog - he is home but sadly he is cowering under the bed.
Since he came home, Yao-Lin has been a total brat. He took one look at Mao, went ballistic and hasn't stopped hissing at him for the last three hours!
I've fed them separately and am trying to keep them apart at the moment.
I understand that Yao-Lin is grieving for the love of his life but there is really no need to take it out on his little brother. Mao is equally as upset at the prospect of losing a fellow royal meezer.
On a lighter note, Baby Mao seems back to normal, a little skinny but that is to be expected. I have the joy of giving him his antibiotic pills and pro-kolin paste twice a day!
Back to the vet for a check up on Friday, paws crossed this episode won't repeat!
We are all sending our warmest purrs to dear Storm who has fought such a brave battle. We will always love you Storm.

Baby Mao, I am glad you are feeling better. I am sorry that Yao-lin has decided to hiss and be a brat, but you can take it - just whap him one one the head : )
That's great news Baby Mao is home :-D If I were him, I'd cower under the bed, too, from Yao Lin :-p I hope the icky vet smell wears off soon so Yao Lin will calm down and go back to his regular normal mean, instead of his ramped up mean.

Baby Mao, get some of Yao-lin's stink on you and he'll be happy again. Sorry though...I wouldn't want to go against him in is grieving state.

I am glad that Baby Mao is doing better. I am sure that although Yao-lin complained of the smell he misses the old smell of Baby Mao!
Baby Mao, I'm so glad you're feeling better. Although Yao-lin is royal, certainly you should explain you deserve better than that.
We are upset about Storm too.
Thank you Human Slave...please tell Baby Mao to look after my Yao-Lin...I am sure they will make friends shortly...Castle used to hiss at me after an over-nighter at the vet place...and we have always been incredibly close...I hope he will be OK without me...xxx

You know Yao-Lin is only cross because his plan to give food poisoning to Baby Mao was found out! ;) You know how he hates it when his plans for World Domination are foiled...

My mom laughed when she read that you actually hissed at your mom when she went to visit you at the vets. Just the mental picture of it seemed funny to her. One would expect you to be excited to see your mum, but instead you hissed. Gotta keep the beans guessing. Good job, baby Mao.
Poor Baby Mao, what a hard time. And then he gets hissed at when he comes home. We hope he gets well soon.
We are sad for Storm's family. She is missed.

I am very glad that Baby Mao is home again and on the mend. I hope you can keep him out of the garbage from now on. I hope that the vet smell wears off soon and Yao-lin stops hissing at him. I am also very sad about Storm. {{{hugs}}}
